Do your children or grandchildren leave cookies and milk out for Santa?
Try this alongside Santa's snack:
Place a small basket or plate out. Tell the children that it is for Jesus. Ask them to put their written prayer requests, past blessings Jesus has given them, or thanksgiving prayers in the basket or plate. Be sure Jesus takes them overnight on Christmas Eve just as Santa takes his cookies. Make sure the children understand that Jesus listens to children and has heard their prayers. Additionally, you can bring those prayers to your church during prayer request time.
